Embodied Utopia.
How can we immerse in art on an embodied level?
When institut für zukünfte invited Modern Creativity to translate “utopia” — the theme of their festival and the exhibition at Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg — into an experience, we wanted to create a space that connects the outer exhibition space to the individual’s inner space.
Through mindfulness, imagination, play, and a carefully curated sound set. Over 30 participants moved through a 90-minute embodied art journey — an amplifier of the surrounding exhibition Utopia. Recht auf Hoffnung.
The session centered around the Biennale Ball Theater, a stunning installation by Studio Muoto (Paris), originally created for the French Pavilion at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale 2023. It was the perfect stage to awaken utopia in each of us.
At Modern Creativity we explore how embodied practices can nurture Creative Health — fostering connection and presence through sensory experience.
